A platform base takes the place of both the box spring and mattress frame.  They are made of hollow steel, so they are easy to assemble (no tools included or required), lightweight and fold easily.  They can attach to any headboard, footboard or retainer bars.  Items can be stored underneath it and covered by putting a skirt over the base.  They can sit inside a bed frame and hold up to 2000 lbs.  Twin $99  Full $149  Queen $169  King $189.
